This may not be our most glamourous topic, but it is, nevertheless, important that we discuss the process for removing sick stains. Why?
It may not be a much-discussed topic, however, if you are faced with the task of removing a sick stain you will likely place high value to any advice.
Sick stains are particularly challenging to remove. This is often due to the corrosive nature of the stain and the fact that they are difficult to clean up. This image shows a stain caused by someone being sick on a woollen carpet in Kirkham.
As you can see by the second image, we treated, cleaned, sanitised and removed the stain from the carpet using hot water extraction system. This is, without doubt, the most thorough and effective way of deeply cleaning a carpet.
It uses hot water and high-powered extraction to remove the dirt and stain from the carpet fibres. Woolen carpets are hard-wearing but can also be a challenge when faced with carpet stains. Its fibres are naturally delicate and can be damaged relatively easily.
A damaged woolen carpet may have a fluffy appearance. This can often happen if a stain is scrubbed, rather than being removed correctly. This is another benefit of the extraction process because its high pressure works to effectively remove the stain without intensive rubbing.
