- If you have a mat laid at the entrance of a doorway, make sure to move them regularly. This will make sure that any build up can be dealt with before it gets too bad.
- Try and do research into mats that will not stain your floor beneath. There are other types available that offer great absorption but don’t necessarily stain like rubber-backed mat.
Try to wash your mat regularly so that the dirt doesn’t build up and saturate it.- If the mat is placed in an area of your home with high usage, it is often a good idea to replace it regularly if the material has deteriorated.
